I work mainly with React, TypeScript and Node, building everything from APIs and services to polished front-ends.
I'm also comfortable across other ecosystems, having shipped production code in C#, Python and PHP.

On the data side, I've spent years with Postgres (including PL/pgSQL), MySQL and MongoDB, from schema design to aggregation pipelines.

I'm comfortable owning the infrastructure too: I containerise with Docker and set up my own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Bitbucket.
Most of my deployment experience is on AWS (S3, CloudFront, EC2, IAM, Route 53), though I'm just as at home on Heroku or provisioning an Ubuntu droplet from scratch on DigitalOcean.

Before development I worked as a UX/UI designer, so I care about products that are as considered visually as they are functional.
My design toolkit spans Figma, Sketch, Storybook, Zeplin and Principle, along with most of Adobe's Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Premiere and After Effects.

Outside of work I love to tinker and build small games as a hobby.
On the 3D side I make games in Unity, model in 3DsMax and bring scenes to life with Three.js; for 2D I create pixel art in Aseprite and build gameplay with Phaser.js.

I'm also adapting my development workflow to incorporate AI tooling, Claude Code in particular, and enjoy finding pragmatic ways to work it into how I build and ship.
